Battery Cell Safety & Reliability Test Engineer at QuantumScape

Daniel Espinosa has an extensive work experience in various technical roles. Daniel started their career at Cornell University as a Research and Teaching Assistant, where they contributed to research projects focused on ultra-cold atoms and also served as a Teaching Assistant for physics courses. Afterward, they joined Park Systems as a Technical Support Engineer, providing assistance and support to customers. Daniel then moved on to HP, where they worked as a Research Engineer, conducting R&D for printing and content delivery applications. Daniel also built prototype hardware and test equipment and carried out experiments to improve print technology. Following their time at HP, Daniel worked at Certified Employment Group as a Technician, and later at Keysight Technologies as a Precision Optical Fabrication Technician. Daniel then joined ChargePoint as a Reliability and Validation Test Technician, and subsequently worked at Natron Energy as a Test Engineer. Currently, they are employed at QuantumScape as a Battery Cell Safety & Reliability Test Engineer, contributing to the development of battery technologies.

Daniel Espinosa attended San Jose State University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics. In February 2016, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates.
