Shanna Delfs

Shanna Delfs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shanna began their career at EG Integrated in 2011 as a Public Relations and Marketing Assistant, where they provided support to the Director of Public Relations and account executives. Shanna assisted with various client projects, including copy editing, proofreading, media monitoring, and writing news releases.

In 2012, Shanna joined CISabroad as a University Relations Regional Coordinator. Shanna held this role until 2015 and was responsible for managing relationships with universities in the region.

In 2015, Shanna moved to Groupon, where they served as a Groupon Getaways Senior Account Executive. In this role, they managed and sold strategic partnerships between hotels/resorts and Groupon's travel business. Shanna successfully grew their book of business and exceeded revenue and deal count goals.

Since 2017, Shanna has been working at Quartz Events as a Conference Director for the CIO/CISO Visions IT & Cybersecurity Summits. Shanna is responsible for new business development of event sponsorships and has built and nurtured numerous customer relationships resulting in significant revenue.

Throughout their career, Shanna has demonstrated strong sales and communication skills, effectively communicating value propositions and advising partners on the best sponsorship packages. Shanna is also skilled in prospecting, cold calling, and consultative selling.

Shanna Delfs attended Lewis Central High School from 2003 to 2007. Shanna then pursued higher education at Iowa State University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Journalism and Public Relations (JLMC). In 2010, Shanna participated in a semester study abroad program at the University of Newcastle in Australia.
