Philip Zernia

Philip Zernia serves as the Director of Operations for University of Indianapolis Dining Services at Quest Food Management Services since March 2023, overseeing various dining sectors including retail, residential, and catering. Prior to this role, Philip held several positions at Compass Group USA, including Director of Retail, and was a Sr. Catering Manager and Assistant Dining Services Director at Hillcrest Country Club. Philip's experience also includes a tenure as Food and Beverage Manager at ClubCorp, where management of a $2 million department was achieved. Philip has honed financial management skills and enhanced member satisfaction during roles at Knollwood Country Club, successfully increasing satisfaction scores and improving health inspection ratings. Earlier positions include Service Manager at Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center and leadership roles in the Spartan Marching Band and YMCA. Philip holds a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Michigan State University, further complemented by early training in hospitality at Penn High School.
