Manuel Valdes

Manuel Valdes is the current CEO at Questum. Manuel has also previously served as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Grupo Quimmco from January 2018 to April 2020. Manuel was responsible for the full P&L and functional management of the company, which was divided into three sites. Prior to that, they worked as the Global Sr. Director of Supply Chain Management at Meritor from January 2007 to October 2008. Manuel began their career in 1993 as Raleigh, NC for North Carolina State University. In October 2008, they became the Director General at SISTEMAS AUTOMOTRICES DE MEXICO S.A. DE C.V., where they were responsible for the full P&L and functional management of the company, which was divided into three sites. Manuel held this position until December 2017. From October 1989 to December 2006, they served as the Purchasing & Business Development Director at SISTEMAS AUTOMOTRICES DE MEXICO S.A. DE C.V..

Manuel Valdes has a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from North Carolina State University, a degree in Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Mgrs. from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Manuel also has experience as a board member for development in business administration and management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and they are currently pursuing a Stanford Graduate School of Business degree in management.
