Job Overview 

As a Senior UI/UX Website Designer/Product Designer, you will play a critical role in crafting engaging and visually stunning website designs that prioritize user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and content creators, to design and redesign various elements of our websites. This role requires a strong focus on a mobile-first approach and the ability to create interactive tools, calculators, graphs, and charts for our financial domain blog posts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Website Designs & Redesigns: Lead the design and redesign of our websites, including landing pages, article pages, and various elements and blocks, ensuring they align with business goals and enhance user experience.  
  • Mobile-First & User-Centric Approach: Prioritize responsive design and a mobile-first approach to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.  
  • Interactive Tools & Calculators: Design and develop interactive tools and calculators tailored to the financial domain, enhancing user engagement and providing value to our audience.  
  • Rich Media & Graphics: Create engaging and informative graphs, charts, and other rich media to support and enhance blog content.  
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and user needs.  
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, motivations, and incorporate feedback into the design process through usability testing and iterations.  
  • Design Documentation: Develop wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.  
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in UI/UX design, and incorporate them into our design process. 
  • Design Guidelines: Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across the team. 
  • Data Visualization: Create clear, effective visualizations to represent complex data, ensuring accuracy and user comprehension. 
  • Interactive Design: Develop engaging, interactive elements that enhance user engagement and encourage exploration. 

 Requirements: 

  • Experience: 5-8 years of proven experience in website/product design, preferably within the financial or similar industry. 
  • Design Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. 
  • Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create mobile-first, user-centric designs. 
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including website redesigns, interactive tools, and rich media, with measurable results. 
  • User Research: Experience with user research techniques, usability testing, and iterative design processes. 
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile development environments. 
  • Performance Metrics: Understand and apply metrics like impressions, clicks, and CTR to evaluate and improve design effectiveness. 
  • Creativity & Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional and unique user experiences. 
  • User-Centered Design: A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), including planning and conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, and understanding usability and accessibility concerns. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
