Natalie Ramirez

Natalie Ramirez has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Natalie began their career as a Lead Sales Associate at Adamas Jewelers in 1999 and later worked as a Business Development Intern at MCE Technologies. In 2003, they joined UC Irvine as a Molecular Biology Research Assistant, where they conducted genetic research and collaborated with other scientists. Natalie then worked at City of Hope as a Clinical Research Associate, leading a research program on thoracic surgery outcomes. In 2009, Natalie became a Biology and Zoology Teacher at Bonita Unified School District before transitioning to Coastline College as an Adjunct Faculty member.

From 2011 to 2022, Natalie worked at Newport Mesa Unified School District, initially as a Science Educator/Dept Chair and later as a Science TOSA and Professional Learning Facilitator. Natalie designed curriculum, facilitated professional development training, and supported teachers in integrating ed tech tools. Natalie also served as a Curriculum Reviewer at EdReports.org in 2019, analyzing and assessing curriculum alignment to National Science Standards. Most recently, they joined Quizizz as a Senior Sales Consultant in 2022. With their extensive experience in education, research, and sales, Natalie brings a diverse set of skills and expertise to their role.

Natalie Ramirez's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. Before that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences - Pre-Medical at UC Irvine from 2001 to 2005. In 2008 to 2010, Natalie attended California State University, Fullerton, where they studied Secondary Education and Teaching. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Yoga Instructor from Yoga Shakti in May 2013.
