Christopher Gardner serves as the Director of Research and Development at Quorum Innovations since March 2023. Previously, Gardner held various positions at the University of Florida from August 2009 to January 2023, including Master Biological Scientist IV at the Genetics Institute, where leadership of research projects and clinical trials focused on citrus-greening and type 1 diabetes occurred. Other notable roles included Senior Biological Scientist III/Lab Manager, overseeing drug discovery projects, and Biological Scientist/Lab Manager, leading teams for clinical trials and animal research. Gardner began the career as a Lab Technician and Research Assistant, optimizing high throughput screening methods and conducting protein analysis. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and an Associate in Arts in Biological Science from Santa Fe College.
