Garrett Toyofuku

Garrett Toyofuku has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Garrett started their career in 2014 at Jamba where they worked as a Team Member and eventually became a Team Lead until 2017. In the same year, they also worked as a Summer Instructor at Upward Bound. In 2017, they joined Chop Chop Rice Co. as a Front of House Team Lead, where they led a team and focused on customer service and satisfaction.

Garrett then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Texas Tech University, where they conducted experiments and characterized products. In 2017, Garrett also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Lighthouse Tutoring, where they developed customized curriculum and provided individualized instruction to students.

In 2020, Garrett had two roles. Garrett worked as a Contact Tracer at Harris County Public Health, where they collected and recorded information to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Garrett also worked as a Wafer Process Technician at Applied Optoelectronics, Inc., where they manufactured wafers, conducted quality control inspections, and provided troubleshooting for manufacturing errors.

From 2020 to 2022, Garrett returned to Aspen Technology as an Inside Sales Account Manager, focusing on account management and sales. In 2022, they joined Quorum Software as a Business Development Representative and later transitioned to an Account Manager role in 2023.

Garrett's most recent role is as a Solution Consultant at Aspen Technology, where they currently work.

Garrett Toyofuku completed their education at Texas Tech University. From 2012 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. During the same period, they also obtained a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry. In June 2019, Garrett received certification as an Engineer In Training from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
