Erik Stauber

Erik Stauber is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the medical and optical test industries. Currently serving as an Engineer at Erik Stauber since July 2019 and as Principal Research and Development Engineer at R2 Dermatology, Inc. since February 2016, Erik has been instrumental in developing innovative technologies for aesthetic skin treatment devices, including areas such as cryogenics, robotics, and machine vision. Previously, as a Staff Systems Engineer, Erik designed a skin cooling device that achieved FDA class II approval. Other notable positions include Senior Systems Engineer at Cruise Automation and Senior Systems Engineer at Gamma Scientific, where Erik contributed to various engineering projects, notably the Laserlux G7 roadway optical test and measurement system. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
