Nick Romano

Nick Romano has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Nick'smost recent role is as a Software Engineer at Rachio, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Mobile Application Developer at SIDEARM Sports from July 2020 to October 2021. Nick also worked as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble College from August 2018 to October 2019. In 2019, they had a software intern role at SpinCar® from June to August.

In 2017, Nick held two positions. At the University of Rochester Medical Center, they worked as an Automation Engineer, where they focused on automating testing procedures. Nick developed an automation program to create test patients efficiently. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, they collaborated on the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument project, analyzing simulated data sets and building models to prepare the telescope for launch in 2019.

Nick Romano attended the University of Rochester from 2016 to 2020, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
