Peter McCann

Peter McCann is a seasoned professional in emergency management with extensive experience in developing and maintaining emergency plans at the university level. Currently serving as the Director of Emergency Management at Radford University since September 2019, Peter previously held the position of Emergency Planner at Virginia Tech from October 2015 to September 2019, where responsibilities included preparing and updating emergency and continuity plans. Additionally, Peter worked as an Account Manager at RMC Events, Inc. from June 2011 to September 2019, overseeing event staffing and management while maintaining client relations and ensuring comprehensive event execution. Peter holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Radford University.
