Tim Fuhrer

Tim Fuhrer is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Radford University since 2006, where teaching responsibilities include General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Molecular Modeling. Tim Fuhrer has also contributed to the United States Air Force as a Visiting Researcher since 2018, focusing on research in the Chemistry Department. Previous roles include Assistant Professor and Instructor of Chemistry at Radford University and Chesterfield County Public Schools, respectively, along with experience as a Process Manager at Benjamin Moore & Co. Tim Fuhrer holds a PhD in Computational Physical Chemistry from Virginia Tech and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Georgetown University, alongside a Master of Arts in Biblical Ministry from Piedmont International University. Research interests include molecular modeling of fullerenes and protein/ligand interactions.
