Mark Gentry, Ph.D., P.E. has extensive work experience in various roles related to engineering, project management, and strategic planning in the energy sector.

From 2022, they have been working as a Project Director at Radia, Inc., where they are responsible for managing international projects focused on green hydrogen, green ammonia, and sustainable green fuels.

Prior to that, Mark worked as a Senior Principal Consultant at Lummus Consultants International in 2021.

Mark spent a significant portion of their career at ExxonMobil, starting in 1998. Mark held roles such as Venture Technical Manager, Materials, Corrosion, & Flow Assurance Manager, Civil, Structures, Arctic Engineering Manager, Executive Strategic Planning Coordinator, Arctic Caspian Development Planning Supervisor, Arctic, Offshore, and Environmental Technology Research Supervisor, LNG Delivery Group Leader, Metocean, Mooring, and Stationkeeping Group Lead, and Research Engineer.

During their time at ExxonMobil, Mark was involved in various projects and responsibilities, including managing development efforts for regulatory submissions, overseeing technical support and integrity management for upstream projects and operations, leading engineering teams, and conducting research and development in areas such as offshore structures, LNG technology, and environmental impacts.

Mark Gentry, Ph.D., P.E. holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Mark also obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to their academic degrees, Mark Gentry has several certifications. Mark completed the "The Hydrogen Economy: Silver Belt" certification, as well as the "Silver Badge 1: Hydrogen Production," "Silver Badge 2: Hydrogen Transportation, Safety & Use," and "Silver Badge 3: Commercial Opportunity for Hydrogen" certifications, all from the University of Houston in 2022. Mark Gentry also completed the Advanced Leadership Program from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2013 and the General Leadership Program from the same institution in 2011.
