Ari Goldberg has an extensive work experience in communications and media relations. Ari is currently the Director of Communications at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty since 2024. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Communications at the Center for Democracy & Technology from 2021 to 2024. Ari also served as the Director of Media Relations at the Bipartisan Policy Center from 2019 to 2021, and as the Director of Advocacy Communications at CARE from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they held the position of Director of Communications at the Project On Government Oversight from 2015 to 2017. Ari has also worked as the U.S. Press Secretary at The ONE Campaign from 2012 to 2015, and as a Spokesperson and Director of Media Relations at AIPAC from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as the Press Secretary at Radio Free Europe from 2007 to 2011, and as a Press Secretary to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2005 to 2007. Ari began their career as an Assistant Producer at BBC News from 2001 to 2003.
Ari Goldberg earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995. Ari then pursued a Master's Degree in Modern Hebrew Language & Literature at the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Darche Noam - Shappell's College of Jewish Studies (Yeshiva) from 1996 to 1998. Ari's education started at El Paso Hebrew Day School from 1980 to 1987.
