Carrie Shaffer has worked in the communications and marketing field since 2003. Carrie began their career as an Editorial Assistant at U.S. News & World Report, then moved on to become Manager of Strategic Communications & Marketing at the State Department Federal Credit Union in 2005. In 2010, they became a Pro-Bono Marketing Consultant/Copywriter at Taproot Foundation, and in 2011 they began working as a Freelance Marketing and Content Consultant. In this role, they wrote articles and captions for distribution across luxury publications, consulted and wrote an interactive pitch deck document, consulted and wrote all content for an endangered fund website redesign project, and consulted and wrote for a UX, user-centered company focused on web strategy and design.
Carrie Shaffer graduated from the University of Miami in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Criminology. Carrie attended Foxcroft School from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a diploma.
