Craig Heron

Craig Heron has extensive work experience in the investment management industry. Craig currently holds the position of Director of Public Markets at Railpen, a role they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Public Markets at Railpen from May 2018 to November 2023. Craig joined Railpen in September 2011 as the Deputy Investment Director, a position they held until May 2018.

Before joining Railpen, Craig worked at Henderson Global Investors as the Director of Multi-manager from May 2009 to February 2011. Craig also gained experience as a Fund Manager at New Star Asset Management from November 2003 to April 2009. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Managed Funds Research at Edinburgh Fund Managers from October 2000 to October 2003. Craig's career in the investment field began at Greig Middleton, where they served as a Senior Research Analyst from 1996 to 2000.

Craig Heron attended Heriot-Watt University from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics.
