Julia Manthey

Julia Manthey currently serves as a Registered Nurse at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital since September 2022. In addition to nursing, Julia has held multiple roles in the community, including Swim Coach for Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation, Assistant Preschool Teacher at Rainbow Station, interim Youth Minister at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, and Lifeguard Supervisor with the Virginia Beach Department of Emergency Medical Services. Julia's career in aquatic safety began as a Beach Lifeguard for Virginia Beach City EMS from May 2013 to September 2016. Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from Virginia Tech, completing studies in 2018.
