Ricardo Dell Aquila Mussa

He holds a degree in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. Mr. Mussa became executive director of the Raízen joint venture on April 1, 2020, previously he was the Vice President Executive, responsible by the group’s Logistics, Trading and Distribution and also was the CEO of Cosan Lubrificantes and later CEO of Moove Lubrificantes with operations in six countries including Europe and Latin America. He joined Cosan in 2007 and was one of the founders and CEO of Radar for five years, a company dedicated to investment on agricultural land with high recovery potential. During this period, he was also a member of the Board of Westchester in the United States, a TIAA CREF (American Pension Fund) company responsible for investments in the United States, Europe and Australia. Previously he performed several functions in multinationals such as Unilever and Danone, mainly in the Supply Chain area. He was responsible for the logistics area of Danone in Brazil in 2007 and for the manufacturing area of Unilever’s main cosmetics factory in Latin America between 2006 and 2007. Still at Unilever, he served as global director of Purchases of oils and fats and was also responsible for purchasing agricultural commodities in more than 25 countries. With extensive international experience, he worked at Unilever USA in Connecticut in 2002.
