Lelethu Magogotya

Lelethu Magogotya has an extensive work experience in the financial industry. They started their career at FNB South Africa as a Pricing Analyst and later took on the role of Portfolio Credit Analyst. In these roles, they assessed credit risk, made credit decisions, and built relationships with clients and Relationship Managers. They then moved on to Liberty Group South Africa as a Credit Risk Analyst, where they produced credit risk reports and contributed to the annual financial statements. Lelethu then worked at Investment Solutions as a Data Management & Reporting Specialist, where they managed and maintained asset data for investment performance reports. Currently, Lelethu is working at RMB - Rand Merchant Bank as the Head of Markets: Credit Risk Management & Monitoring. In this role, they are responsible for managing and monitoring credit exposures in the Markets business, implementing risk management frameworks and policies, and ensuring proper credit risk reporting. They have a strong background in credit risk management and a proven record of successfully handling complex financial responsibilities.

Lelethu Magogotya, BTRM, has a diverse education history. In 2003-2007, they pursued a BSc Hons degree in Computational & Applied Maths from Wits University. In 2021, they attended the Nexus Leadership Programme at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). Most recently, in 2022, Lelethu Magogotya completed The Certificate of Bank Treasury Risk Management (BTRM).
