Karl Doherty

Karl Doherty has a background in manufacturing engineering. Karl started their career as a Store Assistant at Glenside stores from March 2015 to June 2018. In July 2018, they joined Randox Teoranta as a Manufacturing Engineer where they worked until September 2021. Doherty then moved on to E+I Engineering, where they held the position of Manufacturing Engineer from September 2021 to October 2022. Currently, Doherty is working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Randox since October 2022.

Karl Doherty attended the Letterkenny Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a (Hons) Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. In 2019, they studied at the Institute of Technology, Sligo, and obtained a Certificate in Lean Sigma Quality (Six Sigma Green Belt) in Manufacturing Engineering. In August 2019, they also obtained a certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements & Acceptance for Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies from Atek training services.
