Kevin McDonald

Kevin McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kevin is currently working as the Chief Pilot at Rantizo since 2023. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they worked at Guardian Agriculture, first as the Vice President of Operations and then as the Vice President of Customer and Government Relations, where they focused on boosting growth and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Before their time at Guardian Agriculture, Kevin served in the US Marine Corps for a significant duration, starting from 1996. During their time in the Marine Corps, they held positions such as Lieutenant Colonel, Executive Officer, and Operations Officer, among others. Kevin oversaw multiple aviation squadrons and played a crucial role in mission success.

Kevin's work experience also includes roles at Wilbur-Ellis as the National Director of Aerial Operations, at L3 Technologies as a Test Director, at Insitu, Inc. as a Site Lead/Mission Coordinator/UAS Operator, at BAE Systems as an International Operations Manager/Chief Pilot, and at BGI, LLC as a Technical Project Lead/Subject Matter Expert.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated their ability to strategically plan, build strong relationships, and contribute to business growth and success.

Kevin McDonald earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Sciences from Florida State University in 1996. Kevin then attended the Naval Postgraduate School in 2002, focusing on Aviation Safety/Risk Management. In 2018-2019, Kevin pursued further education in Project Management at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF). Kevin recently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Ohio University between 2023 and 2025. Additionally, Kevin holds an Aviation Transport Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
