Masaomi Karakawa has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering and customer service. Masaomi started their career as a Service Engineer at AMANO Corp. Japan in 1998, where they worked for almost nine years. Masaomi then joined Toyota Technical Development Corp. as a facility maintenance staff for eight months before moving on to Buhler as a Customer Service Engineer. At Buhler, Masaomi was responsible for the installation, start-up, annual check, overhauling, troubleshooting, and fixing of production machines for the food and chemical industries.

In 2014, Masaomi joined Instron as a Field Service Engineer, where they specialized in treating vehicle crash simulator machines. Masaomi visited customer sites, mainly automobile companies, to maintain these machines, focusing on mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical components. Masaomi also had experience working with foreign staff members from Germany during this role.

Masaomi worked at Marel Poultry as a Field Service Engineer from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they visited customer sites in Japan to maintain poultry production machines, conducting installations, start-ups, and overhauling operations. Their meticulous preparation for installation work helped to reduce working hours and costs on these sites.

From 2018 to 2019, Masaomi worked as a Sales Engineer at T.M.Techno, where they were responsible for selling and modifying granulating machines. However, they left the company due to disagreements with the firm's policy of selling replicated machines and parts copied from a Swedish company.

In 2019, Masaomi joined Peak Scientific as a Field Service Engineer, providing installation, training, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for GC/LC examination devices. Masaomi mostly worked independently in a SOHO style, primarily serving customers in the western part of Japan.

Currently, Masaomi Karakawa is a Field Service Engineer at Rapid Micro Biosystems, where they are the first staff member in the APAC area. In addition to their field service duties, they also contribute to sales and validation tasks to expand the market.
