Nick Mifsud has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick began their career in 2001 as a Director at Piranha Designs, where they were involved in managing the company. In 2005, they worked as a Software Developer at Toyota Gibraltar. Nick then joined Devon County Council in 2009 as a Deputy Finance Manager, responsible for Technology and Change. In 2011, they moved on to Opus Design Consultants as a Senior Digital Developer, working with multiple clients and technologies such as PHP, JS, CSS3, HTML5, LAMP, Zend, Cake, and Magento. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Consultant on a freelance basis. Nick then joined CME Group in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2016, they joined Rapid 7 LLC as a Lead Software Engineer, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they are working at Rapid7 as a Software Engineering Manager, starting in January 2020.

Nick Mifsud has a strong educational background with a focus on various fields. In 1997, they enrolled at Staffordshire University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology with Philosophy, which they successfully completed in 2000. Following this, from 2000 to 2001, they studied at Keele University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Machine Perception and Neurocomputing. Building on their academic achievements, Nick continued their education at the University of Exeter from 2007 to 2008, undertaking a Master of Arts degree in Global Governance and Public Administration. Through their diverse educational experiences, Nick has developed a comprehensive understanding of information technology, philosophy, machine perception, neurocomputing, and global governance.
