Bill Valenta

Bill Valenta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bill is currently the VP of Technology & Innovation at RareMed Solutions since October 2022. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they served as the Senior VP and Head of Business at PANTHERx Specialty Pharmacy.

Bill also has extensive experience in the academic sector, having worked at the University of Pittsburgh. From 2017 to 2019, they held the position of Associate Vice Provost for Professional Programs. Bill also served as the Assistant Dean for MBA and Executive Programs from 2014 to 2019 and as the Assistant Dean for EMBA Worldwide & The Center for Executive Education from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they were the Assistant Dean for MBA Programs from 2007 to 2012.

Before transitioning into the academic field, Bill worked as a Police Commander for the City of Pittsburgh from 1983 to 2005. Bill also held the position of Assistant Chair in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh from 2005 to 2007.

Bill Valenta received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Point Park University.
