Mathew W. Prest

Mathew W. Prest, PHR has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Mathew W. currently holds the position of Regional Director, Field Human Resources at RATP Dev USA, starting in June 2022. Previously, they worked at BNSF Railway for almost a decade, where their roles included Director Human Resources, Human Resources Manager, Senior Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Training Specialist, Human Resources Generalist, Staffing Specialist, and Human Resources Management Trainee. Mathew W. also gained experience as a Human Resources Intern at The Arc of Evansville in 2012.

Mathew W. Prest, PHR completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a focus on Management from the University of Evansville between 2008 and 2012. Mathew W. also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Mathew obtained various certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in January 2016 and the Certified Deltasig Leader certification from Delta Sigma Pi in May 2020. More recently, they completed several specializations from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, including Financial Management, Value Chain Management, Strategic Leadership & Management, Managerial Economics & Business Analysis, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation, and the Gies Online New Student Guide. Mathew W. obtained these specializations between 2022 and 2023. Additionally, Mathew achieved the Everything DiSC® Certification - Classroom from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in December 2022.
