Stephen Gebhard has extensive work experience in the maintenance and transportation industry. Stephen started their career at SEPTA as a Maintenance Foreman, where they supervised a fleet of mass transit vehicles and managed a shift of employees. Stephen then worked as a Maintenance Manager at Laidlaw, implementing maintenance programs for school buses and transit vehicles. During their time at Laidlaw, they were able to significantly reduce breakdowns. Gebhard also served as the Director of Maintenance at Golden Gate Sightseeing & Tours, where they oversaw the maintenance and repair of a coach fleet and coordinated with dispatch for scheduling service. Stephen later became a Maintenance Manager at Durham Transportation, where they managed the maintenance program for a fleet of vehicles and was responsible for preventive maintenance programs and financial planning. Gebhard also gained experience as an Assistant Maintenance Manager at Grosvenor Bus Lines, where they played a crucial role in setting up a maintenance program for mass transit buses and support vehicles. Stephen continued their career as a Director of Maintenance at Coach USA, managing a fleet of tour coaches and airport shuttle vehicles. Most recently, Gebhard held the position of Corporate Vice President of Maintenance at RATP Dev USA. Stephen also previously worked as the National Director of Maintenance at the same company. Throughout their career, Gebhard has showcased their expertise in maintenance management, budgeting, staff supervision, and coordination with various departments and vendors.

Stephen Gebhard has a diverse education history. Stephen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Information Technology Management from Kaplan University, where they studied from 1999 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1989 to 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Stephen has obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they received the Master Medium/Heavy Duty Truck certification from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence. In September 2018, they also obtained the Master Transit Bus Mechanic certification from the same institution. In May 2012, they obtained the State of Nevada Safety and Health Practitioner certification from the State of Nevada OSHA.

Furthermore, Stephen has completed a series of certifications related to incident management and response. In March 2010, they successfully completed the FEMA IS-200.b Incident Command Center certification, the FEMA IS-700.A National Incident Management certification, the IS-800.B National Response Framework certification, and the SI-100.PWB Incident Command for Public Works certification, all from the Department of Homeland Security.
