Rita Carel has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. From 1985 to 2003, they worked for Schreiber Foods as the Director of Human Resources for Raskas Foods. In this role, they oversaw HR functions for the corporate office and three manufacturing sites, gaining experience in various areas such as employee benefits, compliance, recruitment, and training. Rita also played a key role in the expansion and growth of the company. From 2003 onwards, Rita joined Rawlings Sporting Goods, initially as the Director of Human Resources and then as the Vice President and later as the Senior Vice President. In these roles, they were responsible for managing HR operations across various locations, both domestically and internationally. Rita also served as a member of Rawlings' Strategy Team.

Rita Carel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Truman State University, which they attended from 1979 to 1981. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Lindenwood University from 1997 to 1999.
