Shanda Hinton

Shanda Hinton has extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership, currently serving as Chief Diversity Officer and Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Executive at RTX since April 2017. Hinton contributes to various organizations as a board member for both Simmons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership and The Faith & Politics Institute. Previous roles include Global Culture & Talent Lead at ITT Inc., Principal Consultant at Korn Ferry, and Senior Director of Leadership Diversity & Talent Management at Comcast. Hinton’s career began as Assistant Director of Admissions at Trinity College - Hartford, followed by significant positions at CIGNA as Director of Leadership Planning & Development. Hinton holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master of Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
