We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Project Manager

Audit & Mapping helps clients with due diligence and ESG supply chain audits by conducting customized supply chain mapping audits at all tier levels. RCS Global is an accredited auditing body and trusted partner for all relevant responsible sourcing industry programs including London Metal Exchange (LME), Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), and certified to audit for copper, cobalt, 3TG, silver, platinum group metals and coloured gemstones. The Audit & Mapping team further supports clients with on-going monitoring, training, capacity building and technical advisory.

YOUR ROLE

The Project Manager will work from project inception to final delivery, and oversees the production of project deliverables, and also engages directly with the client on a day-to-day basis while providing excellent customer service and quality. 

The role should identify the project's goals, objectives, and scope and create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. They communicate with the project team and stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track.

The Project Manager’s work will be guided by and closely overseen by either a Project Director or  a Senior Project Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES(but not limited to)

  1. Project Delivery 
  • Day-to-day engagement with clients to understand client needs and clarify project requirements, inform about progress on delivery, and respond to queries

  • Ability to explain technical project contents to the client in an understandable manner relating to the audit process, criteria, and outcomes

  • Take full accountability of the project progress, managing the budget and ensuring that the project is completed efficiently within the budget and established timeframe.

  • Drive assigned client projects forward at all times, including but not limited to: ensuring audits at all stages of the supply chain (downstream to upstream) are scheduled and delivered, manage the invoicing schedule and financial forecasting, review and send deliverables, conduct program analysis (qualitative and quantitative), and assess resource requirements.

  1. Team Management

  • Engage in team mentoring and supervision of team members with the projects you are participating in.

  • Participate in the onboarding process of new team members, ensuring their engagement and continuous development

  • Actively collaborate and contribute to the MAP team and be a team player

  • Demonstrate respect and support for RCS team and colleagues

  1. Training

  • Participate in Identifying skill set gaps within the wider team

  • Participate and engage in the development and delivery of key training needs for the team

  • Participate in Knowledge Share activities

  1. Business Development
  • Proactively identify and manage opportunities to expand contracts or relationships with existing clients and communicate status updates to the MAP Project Director and senior management.

  • Identify potential new clients, new markets or new areas of expertise for MAP or new subjects and discuss those opportunities with the wider MAP team and senior management.

  • Supporting and, where appropriate, participating in communications efforts to promote RCS Global and MAP in the global market.

  • Providing support with the development of RCS proposals and budgets, as required.
