Raza U.

Raza U.'s work experience begins in 1993 as a Senior Engineer at KRL Research Laboratories, where they conducted research and development for Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) guidance and optical systems. Raza also re-engineered processes and procedures for the upgrade of optics and guidance systems for the next generation ATGM.

From 1999 to 2001, Raza U. worked as an IT Manager at Pyramid Productions, overseeing IT operations. Raza then joined Mindshare Pakistan as an Interactive Media Manager, collaborating with multinational clients to design online strategies for brand development.

In 2004, Raza U. became the Head of IT and Interactive Media at GroupM. Raza led the redesign of IT infrastructure at multiple sites and implemented IT governance standards and processes.

From 2013 to 2014, Raza U. served as the Director of Technology at Karachi American School & College, where they developed and executed a strategic technology plan to support educational advancements. Raza also established IT governance standards and processes.

Raza U. joined George Washington University in 2014 as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Information Systems & Technology Management, teaching various topics in Information Technology and bringing industry experts to provide insights.

In 2016, Raza U. became the PMO Manager at NuAxis Innovations, where they set up the Project Management Office to ensure value delivery for US Federal government IT contracts. Raza implemented Agile software development and infrastructure project standards and provided expertise to program managers.

In 2018, Raza U. transitioned to the role of Director of Digital Transformation at NuAxis Innovations. Raza provided strategic and operational leadership for software-related projects and engaged with customers to develop technology solutions.

Most recently, Raza U. has been serving as the VP of Mission Systems at NuAxis Innovations, where they develop and implements growth strategies within the federal civilian mission systems space. Raza leads technological resources and partnerships to enhance client mission critical IT systems and provides IT solutions aligned with organizational mission and standards.

Raza U. holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technology from The George Washington University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Raza U. has obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including IT service management, project management, agile methodologies, cloud computing, and software development. Some of these certifications include Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management from ServiceNow, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, Certified Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, Certified SAFe 5 Agilist and Certified SAFe 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc., Docker Certified Associate from Docker, Inc., Certified SAFe 4 Program Consultant and SAFe 4 Certified Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
