Samiha Samrose

Samiha Samrose has held various roles since 2014. Samiha started as a Lecturer at the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) in 2014 and then moved on to a Lecturer role at the United International University in 2015. In 2016, they began their PhD studies at the University of Rochester. In 2019, they took on a Research Intern role at Affectiva. Samiha then served as an EMPath Mentor at Affectiva in 2020 and also held Research Intern and Applied Scientist Intern roles at Microsoft and Amazon Lab126, respectively, during the same year. Currently, Samiha is a Data Scientist at Read AI.

Samiha Samrose attended Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 2009 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Engineering. Samiha then attended the University of Rochester from 2016 to 2018, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science. Finally, they returned to the University of Rochester from 2016 to 2021, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.
