About the role:

As Business Controller at Rebtel you will report to the CFO and be part of the Finance team. In this role you are also expected to work with all teams at Rebtel and especially the Commercial team. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing financial and operational data, package the findings in a comprehensible way in order to advise, and potentially drive, the changes needed to optimize Rebtel’s performance. Additionally, you will influence Rebtel’s strategic direction by working closely with management to shape and execute key initiatives.


Key areas of responsibility

  • Business cases
  • Pricing (including competitor pricing)
  • Cost efficiency
  • Budgets and Forecast including follow up on actuals
  • Performance Management including Dashboards in BI tool
  • Presentations and reports to key stakeholders
  • Various ad hoc development projects

We’re looking for a person that understands business but also feels at home in the world of systems, data and how data flows. We want a person that will dig into the details and put in the hours needed to deeply understand the business and our processes. We seek a person who thinks Performance Management/KPIs is “Friday Fun” (well ok, at least fun) and thrives in the sphere where Financial meets Operational.

To be a successful candidate you have

  • University degree in Business or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, e.g. Business control or Consulting
  • Experience from working in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • A strong head for business, attention to detail and a mind for analysis
  • An easiness in understanding systems and processes as well as a high level of accountability
  • Strong English both oral and written

Bonus points

  • Experience from working in a high volume transactions company
  • Experience from working with Looker
