Marina Elias

Marina Elias has a strong background in the automotive industry, with a focus on vehicle safety. Marina currently works at Re:Build Manufacturing as a Vehicle Safety Validation Engineer for Project Re:Car LLC. Prior to this, they worked at General Motors as a Safety Integration Performance Engineer for BEV Programs. Marina also gained experience at Karma Automotive as a Sr. Occupant Safety Simulation Engineer. Their earlier work experience includes a role as a System Performance Engineer at Joyson Safety Systems.

Marina Elias completed their education in a chronological order. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University. During the same period, from 2009 to 2010, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Injury Biomechanics from the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Marina obtained additional certifications. In July 2022, they received a Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt Certification from General Motors. Furthermore, in June 2022, they obtained a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician certification from Safe Kids Worldwide.
