Sankeerti Haniyur

Sankeerti Haniyur started their work experience as a Statistics Research Assistant at the UC Davis Statistics Department in 2015. In this role, they developed statistical models in R to forecast solar irradiance and presented their research at an undergraduate conference.

In 2017, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineering Intern at Xactly Corp, where they migrated an environment cookbook and updated critical environment files.

Later that year, Haniyur became a Data Analyst at LinkedIn, automating sales lead scrubbing and distribution using Python and SQL. Sankeerti also created custom Tableau dashboards for sales managers and marketing partners.

In 2018, they joined AlienVault as a Data Scientist Intern, where they automated data extraction from cybersecurity documents and built deep learning models for named entity recognition.

Haniyur returned to LinkedIn in 2019 as a Data Scientist, specializing in the Knowledge Graph domain. Sankeerti designed and implemented foundational metrics and played a crucial role in advancing skills knowledge graph improvements.

Currently, they are working at Rec Room as a Data Scientist and Economy Lead. Sankeerti spearheaded the establishment of the Data Science Team and is currently leading the token economy at Rec Room. Sankeerti has led various initiatives, including analyzing experiments and feature launches to identify opportunities for impact and executing creator-side experiments.

Sankeerti Haniyur's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (BAS) degree from the University of California, Davis, with a focus on Statistics (BS) and Economics (BA). Additionally, they hold a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from the University of San Francisco. Moreover, Sankeerti has obtained certification in "Accelerating Innovation with A/B Testing" from Sphere in the year 2023.
