Dmitri Boudko

Dmitri Boudko has extensive work experience in scientific research and academia. Dmitri is currently working as a Senior Scientist II at ReCode Therapeutics since September 2020. Prior to this, from 2007 to 2020, they served as an Assistant Professor of Physiology and Biophysics at Rosalind Franklin University.

Before joining Rosalind Franklin University, Dmitri worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they developed and supervised research for two NIH R01 grants, focusing on various techniques such as micro-analytical sampling, molecular cloning, patch clamp, voltage clamp, and more.

From 1999 to 2002, Dmitri worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Florida, where they conducted NIH-funded scientific research related to acid base and nutrient amino acid transporters.

Prior to their time at the University of Florida, Dmitri worked at the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Dmitri'sresearch there focused on molecular cloning, oxygen microsensor development, and studying chemoreception and neuronal signaling in model marine organisms.

Before their postdoctoral research at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dmitri worked as a Director of Product Development at Jacana Co. LTD from 1991 to 1995. Dmitri'sresponsibilities included designing and supervising the production of research equipment and licensing microanalytical separation of natural venoms and other biogenic materials.

Dmitri also worked as a Scientist at Belarusian State University from 1990 to 1995, where they primarily studied the neuronal patterns of respiratory behavior in model neuronal networks.

Dmitri'scareer started as an Engineer at Belarusian State University, Department of Physiology, from 1983 to 1990.

Dmitri Boudko's education history begins with their time at Novopolotsk State Polytechnic College from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a professional degree. Dmitri then went on to attend Belarusian State University in Minsk, Belarus from 1981 to 1986, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences. Following this, Dmitri pursued their further education at the Institute of Physiology, Belarusian Academy of Sciences in Minsk from 1986 to 1994, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. During this period, their specialization included neurophysiology, electrophysiology, biophysics, biomedical engineering, and cell biology.
