Kira Franz

Kira (they/them) leads legal, financial, human resources, facility, and general operations at Recompose. They previously led operations at Madrona Venture Labs and advised startups at the University of Washington, where they assisted over thirty businesses at any given time as the manager of CoMotion Labs@Fluke Hall. In their earlier roles at Glowforge and Chef (formerly known as Opscode), Kira handled everything from contract reviews to managing the company option plan to making the Costco run. At Chef, they eventually became the HR Director while the company grew from 15 people to 104, and from 2 jurisdictions to 24.
