Shekhar Thakurdesai

Shekhar Thakurdesai has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Shekhar started their career at Reliance Infocomm in 2000, where they worked as a Transport Network Planner until 2002. Shekhar then joined Marconi Communications in 2004 as an intern in Optical Product Development. After that, they worked at Nortel Networks from 2005 to 2009 as a Services Solution Architect. In 2009, they joined Huawei as a Manager in Service Provider Customer Solution Development. Shekhar then moved to Cisco in 2010, where they worked in Business Development and Sales, specifically in Cloud and Managed Services, until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Intel India as an Industry Manager. In 2017, they joined Palo Alto Networks in the Service Provider Segment, and worked there until 2020. Currently, they work at Recorded Future as the Head of MSSP Sales, starting in November 2020.

Shekhar Thakurdesai completed their education in a chronological order. Shekhar first pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Mumbai University, which they successfully completed between 1996 and 2000.

After that, Shekhar went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Information and Communications Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2002 to 2005.

Furthermore, they pursued an Executive Management Programme in Executive Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) between 2006 and 2008, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA).

Additionally, Shekhar Thakurdesai also obtained a certification in Social Selling Mastery from Sales for Life in November 2016.
