Lynn Acheson

Lynn Acheson has extensive experience in employment services, education, and vocational rehabilitation. Currently an Employment Specialist at Recovery Resources since 2010, Lynn provides a range of employment services, including assessing client needs, job-seeking skills training, and job coaching. Previously, as a Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator, Lynn counseled clients referred by the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission to help them achieve vocational goals. Lynn has also served as adjunct faculty at Tiffin University and Lorain County Community College, engaging students in literature and designing course materials. Prior experience includes working as a Career Specialist at the Lorain County Workforce Development Agency and serving as a Substitute Teacher for Elyria City Schools. Lynn holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cleveland State University, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Lorain County Community College.
