Marcy Larson is a Strategic Communications Director at Red Banyan, where she is responsible for leading client accounts and developing strategic communications campaigns. Marcy has extensive background in all facets of strategic marketing and communications with proven results, growing reach and impact for the brands she works on. She has experience across multiple industries, including not-for-profit, tourism, research, education, arts and culture, technology, and consumer products.
Marcy has held leadership positions at Illinois Holocaust Museum, two start-ups—both eventually acquired—and at larger corporations, including American Express, Sara Lee and Bristol Myers Squibb. In these roles, she was responsible for overall marketing and communications strategies. Specific achievements include the development and execution of digital strategy, developing and launching new websites, securing earned media coverage, and implementing award-winning advertising campaigns. Marcy has a degree in English from Colgate University and earned her MBA in Marketing from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
