Gregory Pope began their work experience as an Auditor at Deloitte & Touche, where they worked on review engagements and audits for various companies. Gregory then moved on to Aliant Inc., where they served as the Corporate Controller, responsible for financial reporting and managing relationships with the parent company. After that, Pope joined Boston Pizza International as the Vice-President Finance, overseeing financing for franchisees and working closely with the President's team. Gregory later served as the CFO & Vice President, Finance at Teranet Inc., where they played a key role in strategic planning and ensuring financial stability. Pope then joined Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, taking on CFO roles for their acquisitions, including Sporting Life, Golf Town, and Toys "R" Us Canada. Their most recent position was as the Chief Financial Officer at Canadian Orthodontic Partners, and they are currently the Chief Financial Officer at Redberry Restaurants.

Gregory Pope completed their bachelor's degree in Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1990. Gregory obtained their CA (Chartered Accountant) certification and MBA during this time.
