Sean Fox

Sean Fox serves as the Senior Vice President of Finance for Red Bridge Capital, responsible for accounting, finance, investment reporting, compliance, human resources and office management.

Previously, Mr. Fox served as the Director of Accounting and Finance for Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors, LLC (KAREA) for 10 years. KAREA invests in niche real estate sectors specializing in student housing, multi-family, senior housing, medical office buildings and self-storage. Mr. Fox led all aspects of KAREA’s accounting and finance team, including audit, taxation, budgeting and forecasting, valuation, financial reporting, treasury, risk management and REIT compliance. During Mr. Fox’s tenure at KAREA, the company grew from one fund and $136 million of equity under management to 4 funds and 9 REITs with approximately $3 billion of equity under management.

Prior to KAREA, Mr. Fox was a Vice President with Rabil Properties, LLC. Rabil Properties was an asset management firm which managed an 18-property public student housing REIT, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Mr. Fox was responsible for all accounting and asset management functions of the company.

Before beginning his career in real estate, Mr. Fox worked in public accounting at JH Cohn, LLP (now CohnReznick), as a supervisor in their Private Client Services group specializing in strategic business planning and financial and tax services serving high net worth individuals and closely held businesses, including medical practices, law firms, real estate holding and investment companies and other owner operated businesses. Mr. Fox started his career in the Audit department at Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C., a full service accounting firm located in Hartford, Connecticut.

Sean graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Accounting in 1998. Sean is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of Connecticut.
