You’ll help protect the jobs and security of millions of people while developing novel techniques in cyber data analysis. You’ll be connected to everything happening; every data science team member is responsible for our products’ quality and directly supports the mission. 

As a Cyber Data Scientist at Redjack, you’ll be responsible for developing a machine learning and data classification approach to automate the understanding and protection of the world’s largest digital enterprises. Your skills as a data scientist will translate into customer opportunities through algorithmic, statistical, machine learning, and visualization techniques. You will demonstrate initiative and creativity by proposing ways to address problems, often with large or incomplete data sets, and validate findings using an experimental and iterative approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of methods and models to analyze diverse customer data.
  • Identify and incorporate supplementary data sets to enhance customer data analyses.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across departments and with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Track market trends and emerging technologies to find innovative solutions.
  • Regularly deliver valuable insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Fundamental understanding of key cybersecurity domains and data sets.
  • Experience programming in Python & SQL.
  • Strong understanding of unsupervised learning techniques and concepts.
  • Experience with common ML software packages: Scikit-Learn, LangChain, Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.
  • Experience independently completing data science projects.
  • Knowledge of standard methodologies related to security, performance, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with network traffic data strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NLP and LLMs a plus.
