Martin Bochenek

Martin Bochenek has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. Theircareer began with a role as a Software Tester at Enformatic Systems Sp. z o.o., where they worked from 2008 to 2010. Martin then moved to Sabre Corporation, where they held various roles from 2010 to 2017, including Team Lead - Architect, Team Lead, Senior Software Developer, Contributor Software Developer, Associate Software Developer, and Software Developer - Intern. In 2017, they joined EPAM Systems as a Lead Software Engineer, and then moved to Endeavor Streaming in 2018 as a Software Engineer. Most recently, they began working at Redpanda Data in 2021 as a Software Engineer.

Martin Bochenek obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Econometrics from the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie between 2007 and 2010. Martin also obtained a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 6.0 (SCJP) certification from Sun Microsystems in December 2009. In 2018, they obtained a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera in August, an Introduction to Data Science in Python certification from Coursera in July, and a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in April. In 2021, they obtained an Apache Kafka Architecture certification from Udemy in December, an Apache Kafka Series - Kafka Security | SSL SASL Kerberos ACL certification from Udemy in November, an Apache Kafka Series - Learn Apache Kafka for Beginners v2 certification from Udemy in November, and an Apache Kafka Series - Kafka Connect Hands-on Learning certification from Udemy in October. Martin also obtained a Go: The Complete Developer's Guide (Golang) certification from Udemy in January 2022.
