Furqan Khalid has worked in various technical roles throughout their career. Furqan started as a Technical Support staff at Wichita State University in 2012, where they provided networking support and configured IP addressing and security. In 2014, they joined Cisco as a Network Engineer, monitoring and troubleshooting network infrastructure for clients with thousands of devices. Furqan then moved to Fortinet in 2015 as a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer, where they provided support for various security devices and dealt with troubleshooting, configurations, and best practices. Since 2016, Furqan has been working at RedSeal, Inc. In this company, they started as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, helping customers improve their cybersecurity posture using the RedSeal Platform and integrating it with major network and security vendors. Furqan later became a Customer Success Engineer and eventually a Senior Customer Success Manager, focusing on increasing visibility for customers and automating PCI compliance. Furqan Khalid earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Wichita State University.
