Stuart Floyd has held various positions in the technology industry since 2013. Stuart began their career at Venü App as the Director of Software Engineering, where they designed and developed an app to connect venues with artists. In 2015, they became the Lead of Mobile App Development at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they built a "Google Maps" for the military. In 2016, they moved to General Dynamics Information Technology as the Manager of Mobile Application Development, where they designed and implemented two iOS/Android apps for the CDC for treatment and prevention. In 2018, they joined Carters Inc. as the Director of Web and App Development, where they were responsible for innovation and operation of direct to consumer digital experiences. Most recently, in 2021, they joined RedShelf as the Vice President of Engineering. Under their leadership, their team has quadrupled productivity while keeping resourcing steady, and they have expanded opportunity by building a new platform to deliver content from hundreds of publishers.

Stuart Floyd attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
