Karla M. is a seasoned Lighting Artist currently employed at Reel FX since September 2019. Prior experience includes a significant role as Lead - Lighting and Compositing at Bardel Entertainment from December 2017 to April 2019, overseeing lighting organization for "The Dragon Prince." Karla previously contributed as a Lighting and Compositing Artist on the same project, ensuring key shots aligned with colourscripts and resolving asset issues. Prior to this, Karla worked at Bardel Entertainment from November 2013 to October 2017 on projects such as "Puss in Boots" and "All Hail King Julien," where responsibilities included setting up lights, managing render passes, and making necessary adjustments in compositing to ensure high-quality outputs. Early career roles included positions as Facilities PA and Render Wrangler, with foundational education in 3D Modeling and Animation from the Visual College of Art and Design of Vancouver.
