Akhila Bettadapur

Akhila Bettadapur has a diverse work experience in the fields of technical sales, validation consulting, research, and teaching. Akhila is currently working as a Technical Sales Specialist at Refeyn since February 2021. Prior to that, they held the same role at Refeyn from February 2022 to June 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Sales and Applications Specialist at Refeyn from February 2021 to February 2022.

Akhila also has experience as a Validation Consultant at Talis Biomedical Corporation, where they supervised the validation study of the Talis One COVID-19 Assay and executed software validation protocols for the Talis One System. This role lasted from December 2020 to December 2020.

Prior to that, Akhila gained research experience as a Research Technician at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute from August 2012 to June 2014 and as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from June 2011 to September 2011.

Akhila Bettadapur pursued their education at the University of California, Davis from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they attended UCLA and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.
