Justin Storms

Justin Storms is a software engineering executive who has experience working in various industries, including academia, construction, and automotive engineering. Justin is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Refraction AI.

Storms began their career as an undergraduate research assistant at Virginia Tech. Justin then worked as a construction project management intern for the Dormitory Authority State of NY. After completing their PhD at the University of Michigan, they worked as a controls engineer for Pratt & Miller Engineering.

Storms has been recognized for their work in various fields. Justin was awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2012 and was named a Siebel Scholar in 2016.

Justin Storms received their PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Justin also holds an MSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Justin is a graduate of Kenmore East High School.
