Rajani M. George, PhD, is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in both research and product management. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Regel Therapeutics since March 2024, Rajani contributed as a Research Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine from July 2023 to February 2024. During a postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution from March 2017 to September 2022, Rajani focused on the roles of HAND family transcription factors in cardiac development and function. Previous experience includes a Product Manager role at GE Healthcare, where Rajani introduced new products in gene modulation and cell therapy in India, and a Technical Support and Client Relations Manager position at Wimpey Laboratories. Rajani earned a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at Arizona State University, with a thesis on the regulation of satellite cells in skeletal muscle repair. Teaching experience includes instructing advanced biology courses to undergraduate and pre-med students.
