Niels Fischer

Niels Fischer is an accomplished advisor with extensive experience in go-to-market strategies, commercial support, and M&A advisory for technology companies since March 2024. Previously, Niels held leadership roles at Oterra from January 2021 to March 2024, including General Manager of Oterra Germany and Head of Partnerships and Innovation Portfolio, where responsibilities included managing technology ventures, establishing strategic partnerships, and leading corporate innovation. Before Oterra, Niels served as Director of Business Development & Strategy at Chr. Hansen Natural Colors A/S, where significant contributions included a successful operational turnaround and key M&A initiatives. Earlier in the career, Niels led global business development in biofuels at Novozymes and consulted on M&A transactions at Ernst & Young. Niels holds a Bachelor in Economics and Management from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and additional education from Copenhagen Business School.
